PASSIVE SOLAR HOME

Project Description: This home, incorporating a home office, has been designed and built over four years and was published in the April/May 2009 issue of the Owner Builder Magazine. The home incorporates a large number of the design interests this office has with passive solar heating, heat storage, careful orientation, natural ventilation, a small footprint, indoor-outdoor connection, fire protection without the use of bulldozers and other flat earth policies, constructions using small size timbers and plantation plywood.
